It was a very different theme than anything Patterson has wrote about before. I enjoyed it but prefer many of his other titles it still has the same flow, style and content but something was lacking for me. I usually enjoy sci-fi themed books but this one seemed as though he couldn't decide if it was for adults or children. I would still recommend it just don't expect it to be one like one of his best. So overall it's still one for the collection but if your short on money and haven't read some of his other earlier works I'd buy those first.
