Yes it is interesting to note how the show begins to find a rhythm. But this is just not funny in bits. For example in"The first crumpet" sketch there was induced laughter throughout.

Four complete episodes from the first series: parts 1, 2, and 3 of "The Clissolde Saga" (the very first episodes of RTH), and "The Case of the Tap-Dancing Monk". It's particularly interesting to see the show evolve into its standard format through these initial episodes.This leaves only 3 episodes from series 1 unreleased in this series of BBC tapes.
