Four Agreements - Card Set - A great way to implement the books message January 21, 2008

For anyone who has read The Four Agreements, this card set is an ideal way to remind yourself of the core messages from the book.

The set comes in a sturdy square box with a flip top lid and contains 48 cards, all carrying individual art work on one side and an appropriate message on the other. Each agreement has 12 corresponding cards.

This is an ideal way to practise the messages in the book. As another reviewer has suggested, pick one at random and make that your focus for that particular day. Next day pick a different one. A great way to consistently practise The Four Agreements.

I often have to get involved in customer services work, sometimes people can be hostile without good reason. Having one of these cards in front of me (Don't Take Anything Personally)is a great reminder that people react due to their reasons or their beliefs and its nothing to do me. I can take their emotional poispon or refuse it. As I say, a great reminder in the lessons.

Whilst the message is simple, the effect of implementing this can have a profound effect on one's life and give way to much more personal freedom and inner peace which cannot be a bad thing.

So, my advice, if you've read the book and want to implement it properly, this card set is a great way to do it.

These cards come in a nice box with a lid and are square format. The artwork is vibrant, positive, full of energy with a hint of South America. There are four types of cards each relating to one of the four agreements. On one side is an image with the agreement plus a short quote relating to this agreement. On the other side is more information and guidance on working with this and empowering you. Perfect for those who know The Four Agreements helps but need reminding! Pick a card at random each day, place it somewhere you will see it and make that your mission for the day.

A fabulous little book - ideal for carrying around, or leaving at work or by the bed - sums up the main book excellently - an ideal companion - do read the full book - the principles in this little book can be life changing if you follow them
