Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars A good overview of an important period in history   May 17, 2008
This textbook provides an excellent introduction into the important topics in european history in the modern period. Although intended as a study aid to A-level students, I found this book tremendously useful when revising for my undergraduade degree at univeristy. If you are studying a module where you are convering a wider period of history, buy this book and you can't go wrong.
