When will this series be on Radio? December 27, 2004

I am collecting the whole of this series, and recommened them to some friends in our History Group - who asked when the series will be on the radio. I have written to BBC Radio but had no reply yet. In the meantime because this series is so unique the group are now taking it in turns to buy the latest decade and then we are sharing them. So these recordings are highly recommened from me and from the group.

The BBC have excelled themselves with this excellent series. I was given this one a couple of weeks ago, and am now determined to collect the range. I was totally absorbed by the voices of people from history talking about what they saw, what they lived through, and what it was like. What is so great about this release is that because there are 4 CDs one really gets a sense of the decade. I listen to a lot of audiobook and this one is one of the very best.
