5 out of 5 stars The best of his time   July 27, 2004

I am a highschooler, and every advisory, we can hang out, read and do whatever. I read this book every day, and it never got boring. I was having trouble breathing, my face was more red than a tomato, and i was wheezing for air. This book teaches you everyday life through the eyes of george carlin. If you're daring enough, and have a strong stomach (for those laughing so hard you cant breathe moments) read it!

5 out of 5 stars Perfect   February 27, 2004

The funniest book I have ever read, and in response to "A reader from Bay Area, Ca"..Carlin says "F*** the middle class" because they are to blame for the other problems Carlin addresses. And he says "THE DEVIL IS COOL" because religion, in his and many others opinions, is a rediculas contract on the life blood of mankind. The devil does not exist, prove to me that he does, and then it'll matter if someone says he's "cool" or not.

If you are happy with how the world is BUY THIS BOOK, and find out how apathetic you are

If you are not happy with how the world is BUY THIS BOOK, and realise that you're not the only one!

4 out of 5 stars You'll howl till you pee your pants   August 19, 1999
I read this book, and I hollered, I rolled, I laughed my ass off. He's not only funny, but he makes a lot of great points, and he speaks the truth just as often. I reccommend everyone to read this book. It will keep you sane when all else fails.

5 out of 5 stars Carlin is my God and Brain Droppings my bible.   July 14, 1999

this has to be the funniest book i have ever read. It's right up there with Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. Those who call his work Tasteless and offensive are probably just a bunch of those yuppie, narcissistic, baby-boomers with me and Carlin alike hold ALOT of hatred for. To the average reader, this book would be just another funny man's book. Believe me, George Carlin is one of the smartest people around. Every one of his opinions make absolute sense to me(excluding his take on abortion). If you want to laugh quite a bit, buy this book.
