Fantastic February 27, 2008 This is a fantastic book that has greatly deepend my understanding of how I react to investing in the equity market.
The mind/brain/body connections really made me realise why I invest the way I do.
Here is my favourite bit from the book:
'Once you make an investment, you can't help regarding it as yours. You have invested part of yourself in it. The word invest literally means to clothe yourself in something. When you buy a stock, you wrap it around yourself, and it becomes a part of you.'
Real insight bristling with research, references and examples January 11, 2008 Zweig gives real insight to the biology of wealth and investing. Much of his research and writing is backed up by experiment, many that he participated in. More than the insight to the biological basis of our ability to make investment decisions, Zweig goes on to give sound advice on how to deal with the vagaries of our brain.
Very highly recommended.
