1 out of 5 stars waste of money - one star? maybe not!   August 7, 2008

This book is a total waste of time and money. In the short time I spent looking at the photographs, prior to reading it, I found four errors in labelling. I am sure this book is not researched - and it uses a dialogue style which is spurious, recreating conversations of a century ago in modern idiom!
If you are interested in Jem Mace, read Graham Gordon's, "Master of the Ring", which although guilty of some of the same crimes, is at least factually accurate.
