5 out of 5 stars Wonderfully interesting and educational book.   January 24, 2002

This book takes you into the the garden, the life and paintings of Claude Monet through the eyes of Linnea, a young swedish girl. As she travel through Monet's garden she learns much about the painter, his life and his paintings. Accompanying the story and the illustrations are photographs of, and information about, Monet and his family. Pictures of Monet's own works of art are also included. This book has become an asset when introducing children to world of art especially Impressionism and the paintings Claude Monet. If only every topic taught in schools could be accompanied by a wonderful book such as this. Any art teacher would be amiss not to use it!!
