Maisy's ABC is another wonderful book about Maisy, the loveable mouse, by Lucy Cousins. Maisy is playing with her friends, having fun, and making music. This is a very simple, easy-to-handle, lift-the-flap and pull-the-tab book. All the characters are colourful, stimulating and amusing, each accompanied by an object depicting a letter of the alphabet, (illustrated in upper and lower-case letters). For example, D is for dolphin, and if you pull the tab the dolphin jumps out of the sea. This is a lovely developmental book that introduces children to single letters and simple words. Maisy's ABC is a wonderful interactive book for the under 3's. Colourfully illustrated, including something to pull up or move on every page, it has certainly facinated our daughter, who insists on having it read to her at least 10 times a day ! I find reading the ABC to our daughter (complete with Animal noises) a very relaxing way to spend some quality time interacting, especially when we have been apart. I'm sure that this book will give her a head start in learning the alphabet. Many thanks Lucy Cousins.. Absolutely Brilliant

Lucy Cousins has illustated the alphabet with her usual imagination and flair...at least my fourteen month old daughter thinks so. The drawings are bold and fun and she can't have enough goes at lifting the flaps and pulling the tabs. 'G is for grasshopper' is the particular favourite.Hope that this hasn't given too much of the plot away!Certainly a great favourite in our house....
