5 out of 5 stars One of his best books   July 10, 2008
This is a great book. 5 out of 5. no doubt. Probably the best in the Alex Rider series. Fast, great dialogue and interesting.
This has to be one of the best adult/ young adult books out there. It comes close to FLEDGLING JASON STEED, but is better than the young JAMES BOND books. This makes CODY BANKS look like a comic.
Point Blanc is what made ALEX RIDER.

5 out of 5 stars Point Blanc   April 27, 2008
My book review is about Point Blanc. It was written by Anthony Horowitz. It is the second mission on the run!

Alex Rider goes on missions with MI6. First in Point Blanc Alex Rider gets into a crane and hooks it on a boat, because the man inside the small boat sells drugs. In the middle of the book, Alex got into the Point Blanc Academy because MI6 were suspicious that the school was involved in the death of two important boys that went to the school.

This book is action-packed, explosive and thrilling and it is an inspiration for you to overcome your fears because he is cool, brave, determined and he likes the taste of danger.

I really like this book and I think you should read it too.

2 out of 5 stars 'Fiona friend'   January 1, 2008
1 out of 2 found this review helpful

To be honest, I think the title of my review says it all. This is the response the good Mr. Rider gave as a suggestion for what he would do were he to find himself in trouble. He was, of course, at the time, living with an obnoxious young woman named Fiona. My point is, it is only worth using wit when it is funny, and this, to put it bluntly, was not. I got the impression that Alex was SUPPOSED to be dry and sarcastic, but All I saw was someone who only wished he was. This was a problem that I found occurred at the end of each chapter, which got rather tedious to say the least.

Of course, this is simply a single example of an overall poor writing style, which lacked skill, vocabulary and proof reading. I was sorely disappointed in just about everything.

4 out of 5 stars A GOOD BOOK BUT UNREALISTIC IN PLACES   December 22, 2007
I have enjoyed all the books in the alex rider series and i like this book very much. I find the humor fuuny and unlike some of the sences in some of the cherub books it is sutiabal for all ages. My main critisisum of the Alex Rider series is that he does things that are unrealisic of a 15 year old kid with a BMX. Overall a good series but if above the age of 12 i would strongly recommend the cherub books instead as i find they are much more realisic.

4 out of 5 stars Good First few books but gets boring   December 7, 2007
