5 out of 5 stars A Major Confidence Boost   February 16, 2006

Before I read this book I was feeling plain ugly. I hated my hair (which is 'ginger'), I hated my face... I hated everything about my self. Then one day I saw this book. I flicked through it and loved it. My mum bought it for me and that night I read the whole thing. In the moring I felt great. Now i follow all her tips and ideas. I would fully reccomend this book to any teenager who needs a self confidence boost. As Bobbie says: 'Be exactly who you are, super modles are freaks of nature'. TOO RIGHT! :D

this book has really helped me with my makeup and general beauty skills. there is a whole chapter on zits and how to cover them up which i found really helpfull. this book answered all my questions and i have learnt lots of usefull tips such as how to make your own body scrub and the easiest way to get really soft skin all over. i would recommend this book to any teenage girl.

3 out of 5 stars Okay for young teens   February 18, 2003

I thought this book would be better than it was. Its an american book and although it uses american slang words it easy to understand, it does however refer to american cosmetics which aren't available in the uk. It has useful character building chapters to improve your confidence which are useful and well written. The make-up application tips are quite basic and if you are already using make-up you will know most of it already.
A good book for pre-teens and young teens who are just starting to use make-uop

5 out of 5 stars Bobbi Brown's amazing way with words.   January 13, 2003

Bobbi Brown's amazing book for teenagers, "Teenage Beauty", has everything you need to know about the 'problem years'. It includes ways to cover-up zits, and how to show your true beauty and concentrate on your best features - no matter what colour you are! Bobbi Brown's use of words also help you find ways around your problems and give you a confidence booster. Definately the best beauty book around, by far!

I am absolutely obsessed with makeup as i want to be a makeup artist when i am older. So when me and my freinds went into john lewis one day to look at all the make up, which we couldnt actually afford, Bobbi Brown teenage beauty caught my eye and after some serious grovelling and begging to my mum i got it for my 14 th birthday i was excited and i wasnt disappointed one little bit. this book is great so for all you young makeup lovers out there i definitely recommend this book
