I just received the calendar, and really like the pictures. It is a good size and I am very happy with my purchase.
I was amazed though because I had purchased a new food processor at the same time, and judging by the size of the box that arrived I thought they had sent an empty box for the food processor by mistake. I was very much surprised to see that the large box actually housed my Greenpeace calendar. I have no idea why someone would use a massive box and plastic air-pocket padding just for a calendar (a flat calendar). It was not a thin box, but a very large bulky box.
My money spent on the calendar will help support Greenpeace, but the packaging used by Amazon to ship the product will undoubtedly undermine their efforts to tackle environmental damage.
This is very sad, but what I have learnt is that many smaller items are better purchased in an old-fashioned shop, with staff, doors and tills.
