I've used Moleskine diaries for some time and I'm a fan. The material at the front includes world time zones and international holidays, but it's not overdone. My favourite page in this section simply has ruler markings printed at the edge, which have come in surprisingly handy.

The week-to-view format gives plenty of space for busy days, unless they happen to be Saturdays or Sundays; these two days have to occupy the same space as a single weekday.

My only real gripe is the quality of the paper. If you're using pencil or ballpen, it's fine, but real ink feathers and bleeds through like anything.
