Better than I was expecting it to be...quite good, really! December 5, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I think this movie was a bit before its time, and now it seems a bit tame as numerous movies have been made since that deal with homosexuality and its social implications more boldly. This movie came out in theatres in 1982! I really liked the direct narrative approach, the main characters directly addressing the viewer, looking directly into the camera. Kate Jackson does a great job portraying the confused, heartbroken wife...good for her to take a risk and make a controversial film such as this, even if it didn't advance her film career like she'd hoped for.
a very BAD experience August 7, 2007 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
The name was so promising, the cast as well! What a downfall. It is by far the worst movie I've ever seen in a long time. I don't think Kate Jackson, Herry Hamlin & Michael Ontkean should put this movie in their resume. They didn't convince me and their acting was horrible. I really don't think Amazon should recommend such a BAD movie. Poor acting job, poor dialogs. All in all not a good experience.
