| Customer Reviews:
A little charmer with a big heart July 7, 2008 I wasn't expecting to see such a funny Britflick (few are these days) when I picked up this DVD. It was the praise heaped on the film (the blurbs on the back of the box) that convinced me to check it out, and I'm glad I did. It isn't so much a romantic comedy as a biting commentary on the life paths of several London women. The cast all slip into their roles with ease, and the central characters, a pair of lesbian women who would like a baby together, are a treat to watch. Some of their lines really are funny, and the awkward bed talk a lot of these characters have is something a lot of us can relate to.
A very British, very original film that I highly recommend!
