4 out of 5 stars Not afraid to confront the issues   July 11, 2008
I found this very refreshing. I enjoyed the UK version but this was much darker and more political. I know a lot of people who were into the soundtrack of the UK one (many quite unexpected). The US version doesn't have the same pop feel. It deals with very serious issues. The sex scenes are also a little more graphic. It didn't offend me but I suppose it would some. It would be a real shame if that stopped people from looking at the underlying themes which are common to everyone. There is a bit of stereotyping (of the anti-Gay Stockwell amongst others) but I suppose we all have difficulty putting ourselves in the shoes of another!

5 out of 5 stars What a fab programme!   June 26, 2008

Have become completely hooked on this programme! Loved the British version and was a bit reluctant to watch this, BUT it is absolutely fabulous. Now own seasons 1, 2 and 3. Season 3 has more of a plotline rather than the character/relationship slant that Seasons 1 and 2 had. It is really watchable and what can I say, Randy (Justin) looks fab with his longer hair!!!
