4 out of 5 stars whimsical feel-good factor   January 17, 2002

three separate stories from the ever-bursting pen of Nora Roberts. Very easy reading, but you really do have to suspend reality. All have a high degree of fantasy/magic and because they are short'ish' we don't get as much character depth as you usually get from Nora Roberts.
Inspite of this, I enjoyed the characters, she drew the settings beautifully and the book on the whole was a satisfying read.
If you enjoyed this - but want a little more depth, with lots more magic it's worth trying The Barbed Coil by J V Jones.
