Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Cultural expeditions of a pseudo-chef   February 19, 2008
This really would appeal to anyone interested in food, travel and current affairs. Written as a follow up to the BBC Four program "Cooking in the Danger Zone", it offers a deeper insight into the locations visited in each episode. Broken down into chapters for each location, some are more appealing than others. My favourite happens to be Stefan's dilema over whether or not to eat dog in Korea, and the way he procrastinates over the idea throughout the chapter. Some of the chapters are less light-hearted but are eye-opening.
