This book has changed my whole aspect of the ancient Greeks. As one of the Renster's pupils, i think this book could become a real chestnut.

5 out of 5 stars An epic read - one of many great books to come from this fabulous author!   June 21, 2008
Once I picked this up I could instantly see that 'Renners' had done it again. - I could not put it down! It covers all aspects of Greek language and civilization for a student. It is not only very informative but the stories are told in such intriguing and memorable ways - perfect for exams. The chapters are closely linked so the reader can start to build up a picture of the Greek civilization as a a whole. This is an unbelievable book which you cannot afford to miss!!!
