Yes I know he goes on a bit, but just read it with an open mind and then for got sake just give up sugar. Its just that simple. You will feel so good, and when you eat sugar in the future it will taste so sweet you wont want it.

Read this book if you want to understand how refined sugars and refined foods destroy one's health. You'll learn more than you want to know about refined sugar, one of the great evils of our society.

4 out of 5 stars Sugar and cocaine are not even remotely similar in structure   June 30, 1999
9 out of 11 found this review helpful

There is no significant similarity in the structure of sucrose (or any other sugar) to the structure of cocaine. It can only be said that they are one molecule different because they are both molecules, and are different. Using that type of argument, the same could be said of water and oil, or O2 and CFCs. The implication is that if you make one tiny little change in sucrose, bang, you have cocaine, but you would need a whole series of enzymes, changing ring structures, adding a N, and removing oxygens, etc. Sugar may be bad, but there is no need to lie about it. Please be certain to check any scientific claims for validity.
