5 out of 5 stars NEW MOON   June 18, 2008
This book is a sequal to the bestseller 'Twilight' written by Stephenie Meyer. Many books make you laugh, cry, scream and some none. However this book is something else. When you turn the pages, tears drop onto them and smudge the text. It is beautifully written and makes you truly understand the intensity of Bella's feeling towards Edward.

Yes, it made me cry, it is so powerfully written that I believed what happened from page one. I have read it twice now and I'm unsure whether I should try it for a third because I get so emotional!

At the moment on amazon, you can buy it used for about 7 which, I must admit is similar to buying it new. However, I strongly recommend that you should read it if you love Twilight (The first book in the saga). It is a book that is both suitable for teenagers as it is for adults. Me, my mum, my friends and their mothers have all read it, and they are just about as crazy about it as I am!

Eclipse is the book that comes after Twilight and although there is a plot, its more just a book to link it to the next book after that - Breaking Dawn which will be released on 4th August 2008. Breaking Dawn will be the last in the saga and all the questions we are asking, such as, Is Bella going to become a vampire" will be answered. Another book called "Midnight Sun" may be released in the future, which is an account on Edward's perspective on Twilight. It's like the 'inside scoop'!

The movie based on the book 'Twilight' will be showing from 12.12.08! Very exciting!

Nevertheless, New Moon is a great read, but always keep a box of tissues next to you when you read it! This saga is my favourite of all time and I hope you make the right choice to actually purchase your own copy of these masterpieces!

5 out of 5 stars Fabulous....   May 24, 2008
I have never read a book that has made me cry as much as this one. Twilight brought tears to my eyes but nothing compared to this. I never have been one to cry at fictional things but i was proved wrong when i read this. Reading how strong their relationship was in twilight then this happening has to be one of the saddest things ever written. I have literally read the book ten times and i still cry when reading Cap.3 and i still start reading at 2,000,000 MPH when Alice says 'He's gone to Italy' the whole series of books has and unbreakable hold on me and Ever since i read the preface of Twilight any other book has seemed weak in comparison.

READ THEM!!!

5 out of 5 stars One of the best books EVER!!   February 19, 2008
(WRITTEN BY MY 14 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER)This is the sequel to Stephanie Meyers beautiful and deeply moving TWILIGHT.
I couldn't put this book down. Stephanie Meyer has captured bella's feelings so beautifully that at points in the book i found myself welling up. The book, though not as good, in my opinion, as the first, still gets five stars, due to the fact that everything seems so real. The way she has described Bella's predicament (Edward has left her) just seems so realistic. The plot is fast paced, and when you think you have sussed it out, it changes, and you are left wondering what happens.

However, half way through the book, there is a point when Bella started to hang around with Jacob, that i felt that the book was dragging on a bit, but then, as i said, the plot turns around and you are left wondering again.
I have recommended this to all my friends and they agree with me, that this is one of the best written books of all times. i have read, and re-read this book too many times to count. definatley in my top ten reading list!!!

4 out of 5 stars The Best of the Twilight Series!-   September 5, 2007

I must say, I was pleasantly surprised with this book, as the first one quite dissappointed me! I mean come on, a maximum pf a page of romantic description is fine, but like 3 pages of lovey-dovey fluff just did my head in! I'm all for the passion yo, but i was getting bored just reading about how the "divine edward cullen" looked!

Anyhoo, New Moon was amazing, it showed me that there was hope for this series after all! The only flaw was how incredibley cruelly my fave jacob was treated! I felt for him so much, he is like the inly genuine and believeable chaaracter in the book! my heart was aching for him, as that selfish bella broke his heart. hes way 2 good 4 her! i just don't understand what it is about bella that makes everyone love her so much! shes just a selfish brat 2 me.

Edward isn't any better, he is one lame excuse of a vampire! sheesh, wheres the edge, the mystery, the qualities that make him believeable? Hes just a pretty boy.

It was also good cos edward was gone for most of the book, so we could see more of the action, not pukesome lurve parts! the werewolves were introduced, they gave the book an extra edge and upped the excitement value.

Eclipse is on the way, i'm all mixed emotion s on that, but i predict that new moon will still be the best!!!

I absoultly love this series, this book was amazing, not quite as good as Twilight, but it still touched me heart, and head me very close to tears, I did miss Edward though.
I cannot wait for Eclipse.
