5 out of 5 stars A Killer of a Thriller   June 5, 2006

I read this book so fast that I was breathless. It barrels along at breakneck speed, with lots of action, humor, tension, and a bucketful of real shocks and frights. The plot deals with a serial killer loose in Pine Deep, a small town in Pennsylvania; but the plot thickens with ancient evil, ghosts, madness and domestic violence. This is Maberry's first book, and I think he's already a real master. Watch out Stephen King!
