5 out of 5 stars Wombatastic!   July 8, 2001

My three year old daughter's favourite book ever. She insists on hearing it every night before bed and can recite it word-perfectly to anyone who will listen.

Just what does a girl do when she runs out of clean underpants? Kaz Cooke's heroine - Wanda Linda - and her side-kick Glenda (a hairy-nosed wombat) make the most of the situation.

This is a great story. With superb illustrations. It will delight any young child (and their parents). The use of language is excellent, getting away from the humdrum tweeness of so many children's stories and providing phrases which are bound to impress.
