it's the question on everyone's mind! November 3, 2002
the story tells of the hilarious evacuation of an unusual town by explaining how each resident 'hits the road' 'heads out' and of course, 'splits'! all this is caused by a rather cheeky dinosaur with his heart set on one thing...
the book is visually dynamic and introduces to the children the fun that can be had when exploring synonyms. this would be an excellent book to use in a literacy hour for word level objectives on the topic of synonyms.
this riotous pun-filled book will become a fast favourite, with well worn pages and many a shared giggle!!
