4 out of 5 stars my biased ears   February 21, 2008

Like many others I thought I preferred the 'Buble' version.

That is until I recently heard it again and in my opinion, Westlife win hands down. Sorry, Michael, I've changed my mind.

Obviously, quite a few unsure punters on this one-if Magic T.V's recent top 100 love songs chart is anything to go by.

Both versions featured fairly well although, needless to say, Westlife's cover was the winner!

5 out of 5 stars outstanding song! in any way....   January 14, 2008

unlike most artists today and mostly female-artists, when westlife releasing a song and doesn't matter if it's a cover version or an original- at least they sell music and not themself. sugababes, girls aloud and the spice girls sells their records through their naked bodys in video clips but in the last few years westlife have outsold all their rivals.
'Home' which is a song by itself, has an amazing harmony and melody with beautiful and meaningful lyrics. not to mention it was produced with real instruments and not some sefisticated computer software. surely deserve to be record of the year. not wondering how their new album sold over milion in a few weeks.

GO WESTLIFE!

I can't believe they've covered a song that isn't even old!
This is not talent!

5 out of 5 stars even if it's a cover version.   December 10, 2007
it doesn't matter if westlife releasing a cover single or an original, when they release it they release a song, music, and not themself unlike most artists today. westlife's version of 'Home' is much much better than bubble's version. it's full of harmonies and it's just a wonderfull song that anyone can rely on. the lyrics are beautiful! the new album 'Back Home' is full of original songs and only 2-3 cover versions.
Home is probably the best song to be release in 2007 and surely deserve 5 starts!
