| Customer Reviews:
the final book... February 24, 2006 Overall a wonderful manga. No spoilers, but the cliched 'happy' ending is not the case here. The manga ends on a high note about the role of men and women and the joy of being able to create life. Each character gets what he or she deserves (well the main characters anyhow...though minor characters such as Suzumi are a little short changed) Why only four stars? The manga went on a little too long...while the mini stories were interesting, there was a lot of dragging in terms of plot and as this point in the story, and too many characters which seem to exist to be figures of tragic deaths and sorrow. In the final chapters...the anime delivers the story better then the manga.
