Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Brilliant!   July 24, 2008
This book is brilliant. I have attended a course run by Judy Reith and she's a fantastic parent coach, I learnt so much from her coures about myself and how to be a better parent. This book is straightforward, clear and practical advice. A brilliant buy and a will provide you with help even when the going gets really rough, dip into it or read straight through.

5 out of 5 stars A book to engage with and come out feeling as though you are winning   June 28, 2008
I enjoyed Judy's writing style and felt she had a good tone such that, even as a mother of four, I wanted to read on. I especially found the chapter on working helpful in addressing the complexity of emotions the conflicting needs of my work and home roles throws up.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent parenting book for 21st century Mums!!   June 18, 2008
Forget all those prescriptive tomes of old, this is a realistic workbook that all Mums will relate to, whatever their situation.

I really liked the way the book is tailored to what you want to achieve as a Mother, not what the author thinks you should do, it's a big difference.

I'm a working mum, but liked how no assumptions are made (or judgements!) on all the different ways people can be a mum, and this book looks at pros and cons for each way.

It's all about the type of relationship you want to have with your children, then working out your own way of getting there with this guidebook/life-coaching approach. Brilliant and life-changing in the way it makes you re-evaluate motherhood.

5 out of 5 stars if you only buy one book on parenting make it this one!   June 17, 2008
practical yet humorous. this book helps you discern the path of motherhood:
what works for you and what will work with your children.
you can't help but feel the author really wants do succeed.
And she understands the multiple demands on time and energy that mothers face.
it's well worth buying and once bought it is well worth reading!
