5 out of 5 stars The best   June 26, 2008

I think this is the best guide for serious collectors of records. It doesn't cover classical music, but does include music from shows as well as all singles and albums that are worth over five pounds, depending on the quality of the records. Many people think they have valuable records because they are old, but this isn't always the case. You have to check the record label, catalogue number and release date first, and this book is excellent for that. It also helps if you intend to sell your records as you will then know how much to expect and then you won't get ripped off

Its a very good, up-to-date book on record prices but only of mint conditioned records. I purchased this because i have 1000,s of records that i was going to take to the tip until i was told they may be worth something!
