A Curate for all seasons December 7, 2000 Very good, full of powerful tru to life stories, about ordinary people from the wlesh valleys
Fantastic and very cleverly written - easy to read August 10, 2000 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fred Secombe is to vicars what James Herriott is to vets - a very gifted writer, with excellent use of words, to achieve light-hearted humour and a wonderful insight into what it is like to live life as a Curate. Brilliant examples of assertion for vicars who find it difficult to stand up to members of their flock, and good insight into clergy life for the lay reader.
