5 out of 5 stars timely reminder   August 14, 2008

Ali Sina is more well known for his website faithfreedom.org. He presents all his facts about Muhammad backed up by evidence. Muhammad is a revered personality for over a billion muslims. All what Ali Sina writes about him is easily available in Islams own revered scriptures, ie Siratunnabi, compilaton of Ahadiths and of course the Quran. Nothing is out of context. Anybody who claims that, is not familiar with those scriptures. If one finds abhorrent what Sina writes, remember, he is just the messenger. If you want to learn about Islam then you can either read the 3 main scriptures which I mentioned above or you can read Sina's book. The only difference will be the saving of time by reading Ali Sina's book.

5 out of 5 stars Truth stands clear from error   July 25, 2008

Having just read the two reviews that give this book a poor rating,I am hear to tell all that this book needs to be read by all who are concerned with the peaceful co-existance of humanity on this planet.Make no mistake this is a brilliant, well researched, well written book.It hits the target right on the nail,it explains in full why Muslim people are so "rigid"with fear, even to question their faith. It explains what damage brainwashed indoctrination for evil intent can lead to,and it explains how we as Non Muslims should bring the teachings of this belief system to the fore, to lay bare the connection between the hatred and intolerance shown in Islamic teachings, culminating to commit such heinous attrocities,as witnessed in recent history.

This book is a must read for all who love democracy and freedom within the law,we all have a common interest to live in peace and security whilst sharing this fragile earth, in the limited time we have, any ideology that jeopodises this concept has to be thoroughly questioned, exposed and defeated, not to do otherwise will lead us right back to live by 7th century barbaric rules, something I'm not prepared to do,ARE YOU??

1 out of 5 stars A very poor read   July 1, 2008

As the previous review suggests, this book is a compilation of biased opinions of the author. It is not a factual portrayal of the prophet. Historical accounts and Islamic scripture are taken out of context to aid the author in disproving the prophet. In this book the prophet is made out to be an evil mad man. Also the idea that Muslim's harbour the reason for the decline in morals in the world today. Sensitive issues are discussed in a way which may offend Muslims. The author simply has no skills as a writer. Even someone with basic knowledge in Islam can pick out the way which the author adjusts facts to aid his ideas. An absolute waste of money!! I can't believe Amazon even sell this garbage!!

1 out of 5 stars Disappointing   June 30, 2008

A disgusting portrayal of an amazing figure of humanity. This book goes as far as it can to present the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as a figure of evil, doing so by distorting the truth, quoting out of context, and implementing the authors own theory of what happened. It fails to describe the Prophet's early childhood at all, and highlights only the controversial aspects of Islam, that have been derived from the lies of other, including this narrow minded author.

In Conclusion, this is a very unreliable source for understanding the Life of Muhammad (pbuh), but it is a great source for understanding how, many critics of Islam lie in order to appeal to their audience. It leaves many questions unanswered, and tries to answer questions that don't exist. If you want to learn about the life of Muhammad (pbuh), then find an author that is neutral on the subject, and doesn't bring so much of their opinion to the table, rather just the facts.
