Time travel, parallel universes and a caveman! February 20, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A nice mixture of short stories, plus one long one are presented in this book.
Big game hunting with dinosaurs, having your mind jump into someone else's in a parallel universe, attempting to prevent the Dark Ages, and a caveman who doesn't get old are some of the subjects dealt with.
What impresses me most is the way language is dealt with. How people struggle with speaking Latin or Greek, or how English may have evolved without a Latin influence.
Overall, a good read and something a bit different from the normal time travel books I have read.
