1 out of 5 stars shallow and crude   August 10, 2008

Having read the other reviews about how gripping this book was, it was disappointing to find it relied on crude language, a poorly executed plot and generally graphic sex scenes that were irrelevant and at best, unimaginative. All the characters had potential to develop but were let down by shortcuts and poor conclusions. Could have been much better written with a different ending and more care to make the characters less one dimensional.

Dreadful and anti women. The sex is all about violence, bar one romance at the end which is totally unbelievable. Really? you meet a gorgeous guy, who forgives your protitution years and doesn't blame you when you nearly drown his son?!

I felt disturbed and dissapointed by this book. Its on the barbeque!

It gets one star because the system won't let me give it nil!

Right out of the gate this book started off saucey and sassy! This was an excellent summer read and the characters were very well written! BRAVO! Bring on the next novel!

3 out of 5 stars Good summer reading fluff   August 3, 2008
This book is a great light summer read, up there with a good Jilly Cooper or Jackie Collins. However, I agree with the previous reviewer who didn't like the ending- it just didn't fit in with the rest of the book. Perfect for the beach though.

5 out of 5 stars FABULOUS BEACH READ   July 18, 2008

I read this book on holiday in Antigua and loved every minute of it. Had to struggle to put it down believe it or not to enjoy my holiday. A real page turner - at first I thought I would not get into the charcters but as the story develops the characters are revealed.

Cant wait for the next book.
