Extremely quotable May 30, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
The movie has so many quotable lines and wonderful speeches that I felt implored to go down that road and buy a copy of the screenplay. It's interesting to see how closely Tony Scott stuck to Tarantino's original script. Although this is not told simply from start to finish like the movie (it starts in the middle and jumps back and forth in time like Pulp Fiction), it's still very entertaining. If you're not into reading screenplays then this won't float your boat any more than any other book of its kind, but if you loved the movie like I do then this is a guilty pleasure.
original sequence of the film May 19, 2002 2 out of 5 found this review helpful
This offers Tarantino fans a chance to see how his version of True Romance differed from that of Tony Scotts. If you liked the film, you'll love this, but the screenplay also offers a brilliant story in true Tarantino fashion, as well as parts they cut from the film.
