5 out of 5 stars It's a stonker!   July 24, 2008
I firmed up on at least two occasions whilst reading this book. What better recommendation can you get?

5 out of 5 stars Naughty but nice!   July 22, 2008
As well as proving himself as a great TV presenter Ashley Hames has now transfered his easy style to the written page. This book will make you wince, laugh out loud, shed a tear and think about yourself and those around you in a different way.

Ashley's personality is laid bare and his absolute honesty is very refreshing. He introduces the characters that he meets along the way such as Mia, Candy Godiva, Taylor Wane and Laurien DuTremble and brings out the human side of their stories.

A great book...but perhaps not one that you would lend to your Mum!

5 out of 5 stars An excellent read   July 21, 2008

I recently had the honour of meeting Mr.Hames after his book signing in Leeds. I rushed home to read this book and - several hours of sweat, erections and tears later - I was left feeling like I'd been on an incredible journey with him. The story of his travels around the world making stops at brothels, orgies and S&M dungeons (whilst occasionally doing some filming for Sin Cities) is enormously entertaining.

However, whilst I loved experiencing this journey, it was the more personal side of the book that I enjoyed the most. Hames reflects on topics such as drugs, sexual kinks and prostitution in a refreshingly honest and interesting manner. As the narrative shows, his experience and insight into these topics is immense and he gives the reader a lot to consider whilst challenging their pre-conceived ideas. I highly recommend it

5 out of 5 stars Wicked Humour!   July 18, 2008
This book is a great read, it follows Ashley's career from working as the "News Bunny" & the Producer of "Topless Darts" for LIVE TV to touring the world as "Sin Cities" roving sex reporter.

If you've seen "Sin Cities" on Bravo you'll know what to expect, however this book goes further and provides a backdrop to Ashley's experiences and details what happen when the camera stops rolling.

A great insight into one of TV's great characters as you follow him on a humorous journey of debauchery, lost weekends and some painful reminders off how tough it is being a "Sex Reporter".

In summary a top read written by a top bloke!

5 out of 5 stars a masterpiece   July 11, 2008

of filth that transports you right there beside the man himself, knee-deep in drug/hooker heaven. You can almost touch it. Byron, Keats, McNab, Hames. Where to go from here?
