3 out of 5 stars Lots of Lists   July 17, 2007

This is a good book for practicalities, listing what needs to be done and what traditionally is expected and if anyone is unsure of what they're doing then its good. I found that its got a lot of stuff in it that isn't really applying to my wedding, so although some of the lists and the book with the space for you to write in your wedding details are useful, its not necessarily all relevant. Especially as I was looking with regards to a slightly less traditional or conventional celebration, as well as an abroad wedding. Does give you an idea of what to consider though.

5 out of 5 stars An excellent aid at a testing time   May 19, 2006

Having been planning our wedding for a few months now, my fiancee and I decided to invest in this helpful product. We didn't want a lot of waffle about where to hold a reception or what sort of stag night to have etc. What we wanted was a step-by-step guide to the whole thing in terms of the actual practicalities involved in organising the one day, of which there are many.

This kit provides excellent checklists and many helpful hints as to who we need to contact and in what order. This is the vital bit. Between us we could easily come up with a check list on a bit of paper, but it is the sequencing of it all that is important. This is where we felt we needed help.

I would thoroughly recommend this kit to any other semi-organised couples who just need a bit more fine-tuning. Or indeed to anyone who hasn't got a clue !
