5 out of 5 stars An excellent book   June 14, 2007

A must for all undergrauates of chemistry and materials science. Broad contents summary: 1) gas adsorption 2) spectroscopic techniques for probing surfacs 3) worked examples and problems.

Professor Attard is a much liked lecturer at Cardiff and his clarity is also portrayed in this very readable book. The book contains a lot of information and is suitable for surface science studies throughout the UG course. It is invaluable to 3/4th year students.
