As I am sure you'll all agree, consulting for hours at a time would be much more stressful and much less enjoyable if it wasn't for this book being at our disposal. It is a great guide to the pharmaceutical drugs and dosages available for several species. I think the layout is great as those of us who are newly qualified can alphabetically find any generic whilst as the years progress and the trade names of drugs are all that we can note, the index has both trade name and generic listed. It can be used for a quick review of some pharmacy laws and abbreviations of dosing to keep us on the straight and narrow. The other aspect I find very useful are the tables of drugs and doses for exotic patients which is held at the back of the book. The price is very affordable although the data held within is priceless. If I was to only have one press that I could refer to then this would be it.
