Not much has changed April 30, 2007 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I was a bit disappointed as I only bought the second edition in 2005, but when I went out and updated it, there was in fact not that much change at all to the vast majority of the text! Sure, the new 2005 CPR guidelines are there (I guess this and the name change dropping `Accident' were the reasons to `rush out' a new edition so quickly), but most of the text is the same. And I'm still tired of straining to read it!
Still one of the best April 4, 2007 1 out of 9 found this review helpful
The Oxford series continues to impress time after time. This 3rd edition has many updates and retains the excellent layout this publisher is famous for. It is a must have for all those interested in training in Emeregency Medicine.
Highly recommended!
Same Old Same Old November 3, 2006 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Once again the Oxford series have attempted to squeeze the entire knowledge base for emergency medicine into an exceedingly small space. Granted there are thousands of facts crammed into this tome, but the micrographic text and easily ripped paper will leave this book securely on the shelf
