Best surgical exposures book. Combination of approach and anatomy more than sufficient for post grad exams. Learn something new with every reading, wealth of detail. Still use as a reminder for rarer operations. An investment, not an expense.

It has excellent diagrams and simple descriptions on exporsures to bones and joints in the body. Can use as a qiuck refference while the patient is prepared in theatre. However it needs to be up dated on certain areas and also it's too costly. Nevertherless ideal for a trainee to keep as a quick guide.

Dissapointed with this book, it costs enough and enough has been made of it for me to think that it would provide a definitive guide to surgical exposure. unfortunately it has obviously not been updated for some time. wanted to plate a tibial plateau using lateral approach- not in it! Not bad as an antomy book but Snell is much cheaper.
