Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars A very usefull guide to structural geology.   February 19, 2001

This would prove to be a very usefull introduction to geological mapping and earth sructure as it appears on a local scale. Maltman writes in an informative, easy to read style, making use of well constructed diagrams to explain this sometimes confusing subject. There is extensive reference to example maps (included) to enable the reader to gain a knowledge of how the different earth structures appear in 2D on paper. Overall an excellent introduction to the subject, and well worth the money.
