 Hope to combine Spirituality and Science October 29, 2005

I have just completed reading this book which was so refreshing and exciting. I think the book has made a good case to challenge the Newtonian approach to science and posits a case for considering energy as the source of matter. This means that what we see is more then matter and therefore the possibilities are infinite. Spirituality has always made a case for things outside the realm of matter and this book will enable many to explore this other dimension for health and healing. Hopefully complementary medicine will have a stronger footing to explore the realms that have so far been seen as pseudoscience and this applies to psychiatry as well. Psychiatry has courted with allopathic medicine and therefore has undercut its progress in the area of the subconscious. Now we have some evidence to explore this area for health and healing. High time we pushed forward in this area and spear head the frontiers that are yet to be explored for our good.
There are other approaches to access the subconscious then just the Psyche-K approach. I would recommend those interested to explore the field of Neurosemantics, NLP and Clinical hypnosis.
