1 out of 5 stars Not even Utter rubbish!   June 22, 2008
Unlike the first film this had no story & was just a long chase scene, total waste of time, please don't make anymore.
Such a pity as the Alien & Predator genera have potential, film looked very low budget, characters were awful & you wanted them all to die.
The first Alien film is by far the best, dark claustrophobic & atmospheric, I don't think Hollywood understand the true meaning of atmospheric at all.
I was forced to rate this 1 Star, would give it none if I could.

Like so many of other reviews on this excuse for a sci-fi movie I was terrible disappointed. I thought that it couldn't be as bad as AVP1 but I was wrong. It looked as if this movie was made as they went along without any real thought put into it. What I could see of it( as night vision glasses would have come in handy) was terribly presented.

1 out of 5 stars Don't bother!   June 19, 2008

I don't even know why i'm bothering to write a review for this film, probably to stop you from making the same mistake!
I love all the separate Alien & predator films but the AVP films (especially this one!) just arn't worthy of being connected to them.

Please don't waste 2 hours of your life watching a film that makes it seem like you're blind.

1 out of 5 stars Alien Vs predator-Requiem   June 18, 2008

This is an awful film. It's a shame as Alien, predator and the first cross over was OK.
The film makers cross the line with killing children, babies and pregnant women in labour.
Childbirth should not be used in horror films. Women should be left alone. It's disrespectful to women. How these women agree to do this I don't know.Probably money. .
Also the story line was weak and you could hardly see anything- obviously just as well!Stick with the old films and avoid this exploitive film at all cost.

2 out of 5 stars It could have been better   June 17, 2008
We've been waiting too long for Alien 5 and I really though AVP would suffice meantime.I was more concerned about the environmental destruction of Antartica in the film and I knew there would be a sequel sooner or later.Every review I have read is exactly right about AVP 2.I really thought that we'd see something really unnerving when the serpents finally got to the surface of earth. The bad lighting is irritating the teenagers should have been eaten earlier and the only really vile bit was in a maternity ward. This along with Shrooms and the new Halloween were only shown for a week before being relegated to a late night slot at the cinema.I feel that this could have been so much better-Alien and Aliens and Predator are really terrific movies but AVP2 shows how bad things can get when less thought is put into a movie. Will there be an AVP 3? Get Ridley Scott !
