This book is perfect for anyone who has just left home! As someone who's mum done everything for them at home, I've found this book to be a great help with setting up my new home.

Although my friends and family are growing tired of me quoting Anthea tips from the book! :-)

I bought this book to give to my daughter for no other reason than she has just moved into her own home and loves the colour Pink, I had never been a big Anthea Fan, I found her 'too girlie' for my personal tastes.... So imagine my suprise when reading through the book I found it to be practical, she obviously does her own housework, and obviously puts thought into things, because a lot of her tips are really intelligent 'why didn't I think of that type tips'..... I look at the woman with a whole new admiration, this really is a very good book

As a fan of the TV program and after buying the DVD i couldn't wait to get this book. I wasn't disappointed either. The practical ideas and know-how are an inspiration. The tips are brilliant and if you follow the advice (no cutting corners, do it properly it will save you time in the long run) even the cleanliest and most organised amoung us will notice an improvment in our lives. There are also rules on basic etiquette, recipes, tips on christmas, budgeting etc... along with ingenious ideas for time saving on housework. The standards are high, very high, but if like me you work, have kids but still think of your house as your castle. Buy it, become it. You may develop an obession with putting stuff in baskets but you won't look back. It's not about anti-feminisim or being 'little wifey' this book is about taking responsibility and making your life easier. This book may not make you the Queen of Clean herself but i am wearing my Domestic Goddess Tiara with pride. Anthea, we salute you. x
