5 out of 5 stars THE BEST WEIGHT TRAINING BOOK YOU CAN GET   February 8, 2008
3 out of 3 found this review helpful

THIS BOOK IS GREAT FOR BEGINERS TO SERIOUS MEAT HEADS!!
VERY DETAILED DRAWINGS ( 400+ ) OF THE HUMAN BODY - SHOWS ALL THE MUSCLE GROUPS THAT ARE USED IN EACH EXERSISE.
DOES'NT HAVE ANY FOOD INFO OR TRAINING PROGRAMS.
YOU CAN USE THIS AS A BIBLE MAKING UP YOUR OWN TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR WHAT PARTS OF THE BODY YOU WANT TO DEVELOP.
VERY HARD TO BEAT!!!!

Brilliant book. Gives you the correct exercises to target specific muscles of the body. Outlines a range of exercises which produce maximum benefit. Incredibly well illustrated, you will find yourself coming back to it as a point of reference time and time again.

5 out of 5 stars A Trainer's Bible   November 13, 2007

This is the best I've come across for gaining a clear understanding of what muscles you train when you do specific weight exercises. A great book for economic workout sessions and avoiding overtraining.

5 out of 5 stars An anatomy book that is well put together.   October 30, 2007

No need for a long review here. Buy this book if you need a resource to tell you what exercises are good to do for a particular body part. For instance, if you want some leg exercises, just go to page 93 and there will be a list of exercises. Then, in the pages that follow, are pictures of all those exercises which show you exactly which muscles are worked with that particular exercise.

Plenty of pictures make this book easy to work with and each picture comes with instructions on how to do the exercises as well as training tips. Also for weight lifters, recommend "Treat Your Own Rotator Cuff" to rehabilitate or prevent rotator cuff problems.
